No person writes Santa's replies. Each reply is created by AI (OpenAI) from what your child wrote. Santa's voice messages use an AI voice (ElevenLabs), and a Santa call is a conversation with an AI voice, not with a person. Every reply says so: “ Santa's reply was created with AI magic, just for you.”

• The letter: the words, any drawing, the name used, and the age if one was typed.
• Roughly where it was sent from (country and region, worked out from the internet connection), so replies and reminders suit your country.
• An email address, only if a grown-up gives one at “Where should Santa send his reply?”. We record when you agreed, the exact wording you agreed to, and the device details (internet address and browser) at that moment.
• Payments go through our payment partner, Polar. We never see card details.

We don't sell personal data, and we don't show advertising to children.

Letters are private. Only the device that wrote the letter, the account it belongs to, and people you send a share link to can open it. Using the same email for later letters keeps them all in one passwordless account.

Every letter is checked automatically. If a letter mentions self-harm, feeling hopeless, being hurt, or hurting someone, Santa's reply stays warm but gently encourages your child to talk to a grown-up they trust, and lists free helplines for your country. Those letters never see offers or payments, and the email given with them never gets marketing.

A member of our team may read a flagged letter to check the system worked. We don't read other letters.

Signed in? Open any letter and choose Delete to remove it straight away. To delete everything, including your email and account, email support@merrymagicmail.com from the address you used.
